Adjustable ratios?

Probably for the electronic steering load, or maybe for stability control...

Probably sport/comfort steering. Just tightens up the steering probably.

If that can be changed via a switch, it would mean the car would be drive by wire. If that's so, I hope they don't screw up the steering feel.

Instead of having to dig through the DIC menus to change steering feel, they moved it to a switch.
Because the entire world bitches about how they like switches, so they gave you some fucking switches.

Well, obviously it toggles the steering on and off.

Haha I wish it would toggle the power steering on and off, but that won't happen.

Obviously it turns on the steering wheel heater. Duh.

What car is this supposed to be?
Who says it's a steering wheel. I think's it's a rescue service for when you crash into a tree.

Found it! Most likely a steering effort switch.]

True drive by wire won't happen, the distinct lack of physical control of steering would open a floodgate for lawsuits from the first people to crash and say they lost steering control.
Electronic assist power steering is not out of the question and is more than likely the probable power assist for the steering where that toggle could switch the level of assist from firm and weighty steering to light as a feather steering for those who don't like to wrestle the wheel and prefer to drive with one finger whilst texting or eating or any other dangerous things people do behind the wheel.

It's like that old Far Side comic when the guy is driving and looks over at the dash. There is a switch that says 'Wheels stay on' 'Wheels fall off' At that moment, Harold made a fateful decision....
